The story of Bruyerre
Over 115 years of experience
François-Léon Bruyerre starts selling basic raw materials for bakeries and pastry shops : dried fruits, sugar, vanilla sticks, etc.
He buys an old biscuit factory in Gosselies and starts manufacturing pralines, confectionery and basic products for the bakery-pastry shop.
His daughters and son-in-law succeeded him. The Collet brothers extended the production range to include workshop equipment.
The 3rd generation opens the first "Cash & Carry" in Gosselies.
They are opening their second store in Jambes (Namur).
Creation of a 24/7 after-sales service activity.
Bruyerre is a market leader. Its young and dynamic management team is moving all its activities to a brand new facility, still in Gosselies.
Opening of a third store in Liège.
After acquiring Ets Delfosse in Leuze-en-Hainaut, Bruyerre opens its fourth store in Tournai.
Bruyerre acquires the Vanhoebrack company and diversifies its activities with savory products.
A new management team is taking over the chocolate factory. Bruyerre retains product distribution and focuses on other activities.
Bruyerre acquires Pièces Pro in Alleur. Acquisition of Schoevaerts in Flanders.
Bruyerre is expanding in the north of the country with the opening of a store in Zaventem (Brussels).
Bruyerre buys the Jacoby company in Liège and its Liège store moves there.
Bruyerre buys the company Adans (Lambermont), Brauns (Anderlecht) and sets up a new logistics center in Barchon.
