This fig and hazelnut crumble is a delicious and comforting treat. Fresh figs, gently roasted in the oven, reveal all their sweetness beneath a golden, crispy crust flavored with crushed hazelnuts.
Easy to prepare, this dessert highlights a seasonal fruit and is enjoyed warm, accompanied by a scoop of vanilla ice cream or a little crème fraîche.

Preparations


  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (fan-assisted).
  2. Prepare the figs : wash them, cut them in half or into quarters depending on their size, then arrange them in the mold (or ramekins). Add a drizzle of honey if desired.
  3. Prepare the crumble : In a bowl, mix the flour, brown sugar, vanilla sugar, and butter with your fingertips until you get a sandy texture. Stir in the crushed hazelnuts.
  4. Assembly : Spread the crumble mixture over the figs.
  5. Cooking : Bake for 25–30 min, until the top is golden and crispy.
  6. Let cool slightly before serving.
